Privacy Policy — Gumaze
GUMAZE PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: 6 September 2026
Gumaze ("the app") is a mobile game for iOS and Android developed. This policy explains what information the app handles, why, and the choices you have. It applies to both the iOS and Android versions.
1. THE SHORT VERSION
- Gumaze has no accounts, no sign-in, no chat, no purchases and no servers of its own.
- Your game progress is stored only on your device.
- The app uses two third-party services from Google: AdMob (optional rewarded ads) and
Firebase Analytics (anonymous gameplay statistics). These are the only parties that
receive any data, and none of it identifies you personally.
2. INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE ONLY
To make the game work, the app keeps the following on your device and nowhere else:
- Your progress: current level per difficulty, mazes solved, scores, attempts, and your
daily streak.
- Settings, such as whether audio is muted.
- A randomly generated identifier created on first launch. It is used to generate mazes
that are unique to your device and as an anonymous key for analytics (see section 5).
It is not derived from and cannot be linked to your name, email, phone number or any
account.
Uninstalling the app deletes all of this. We cannot see or recover it.
3. MOTION SENSORS
Gumaze reads your device's accelerometer and gyroscope so you can steer the ball by
tilting. Sensor readings are used in real time to move the ball and are never stored
or transmitted. You can play without motion by dragging on the screen.
4. ADVERTISING (GOOGLE ADMOB)
Gumaze is free and shows an optional rewarded video ad served by Google AdMob
(Google LLC) when you choose to continue a run after losing. No other
used. When an ad is requested, Google may receive:
- your IP address and the approximate location derived from it;
- device model, operating system, language and app version;
- ad interactions such as views and clicks;
- an advertising identifier (see below).
iOS: before the first ad the app asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking
Transparency prompt. If you allow it, Google may use your device's adv
identifier (IDFA) to show more relevant ads. If you decline, ads are non-personalized.
You can change this any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
Android: Google may use the Android Advertising ID for the same purpose it or opt out of personalized ads in Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings
Ads), which the app respects.
Google acts as an independent controller for this data. How Google use

5. ANALYTICS (FIREBASE ANALYTICS)
To understand how the game is played and to improve it, the app sends
gameplay events to Firebase Analytics (Google LLC):
- app installed (first launch) and app opened;
- a maze started or ended, with difficulty, level, attempt number, out
and score;
- whether an optional ad was watched to continue.
These events are keyed to the random identifier from section 2 and to
app-instance identifier, together with coarse device information (mode
language, country derived from IP). We do not collect names, email add
photos, precise location or any content you create, and analytics data
Analytics data is retained by Google for up to 14 months.
6. CHILDREN
Gumaze is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum
country) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from chidren
rated for general audiences with cartoon peril only.
7. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

personal data on any server, there is nothing further for us to dele

Android Ads settings described in section 4.

personal data. For data processed by Google, please use Google's con
